Describing the Structure and Relationship of Height and Diameter in an Old Unmanaged Eucalyptus spp. Plantation

Abstract The aim of this study was to model the height and diameter distributions height-diameter relationship in an old unmanaged Eucalyptus stand southeastern Brazil. at 1.30 m above soil (DBH) total (H) all 469 trees were measured. For DBH-H modeling, besides testing various traditional linear nonlinear models, inclusion class as random effect also testes. DBH H seven probability density function tested. best represented by Henriksen’s model. Including classes a did not improve estimates. three parameters Weibull distribution describe planting Eucalyptus. showed highest frequency individuals lower diametrical classes, influenced competition, while had similar normal.
